Ironman Erotic Fantasy Workout, Vol. 1 (DVD)
The Women (Book) Having experienced a surge in popularity in
the 1980s, women's bodybuilding produced a number of how-to books by stars such
as Lisa Lyon, Gladys Portugues, and Rachel McLish. Dobbins's book is a gallery
of 50 color and black-and-white "art" photos (read: there is some tasteful
nudity) showing off the physiques of female bodybuilders in studio settings.
Modern Amazons (Book) Though the popularity of female bodybuilding has been rapidly growing over
the past three decades, women’s brawny body types are still not accepted in the
global opinion of the way women ought to look. Enter Bill Dobbins, a man whose
mission is to show the world what ultra-muscular women really look like—and that
they look good. Modern Amazons is a unique collection of fine art photos and
essays giving a fascinating insight into Dobbins's vision of femininity and the
impact of female bodybuilding on modern society. Dobbins shows us a kind of
female physique that challenges the typical thin-legged-large-breasted archetype
of female beauty. With his highly skilled studio and natural light portraits, he
worships these women’s bulging muscles like no photographer has done before.
Totally Nude
Aerobics (DVD)
Seven gorgeous women (with natural breasts) perform
fast-paced
nude
exercises while
cameras artfully pan back and forth over their bodies. There are about
ten exercises with up to four
ladies exercising at a time. They are placed in interesting positions to each
other in a completely white studio that does not distract from the main
attraction. The workout is shown twice, clothed
and nude, and both are worth viewing. The clothed version shows the ladies from
very titillating angles, more so than the nude version (for example, in the
jumping jacks exercise.) However, there are still many times in the nude version
where you will clearly be able to see all details. Thankfully, the DVD allows
you to select slow-motion play for about 20 seconds' worth of the most revealing
camera shots of every exercise routine. --an
